  • Other A driving simulator is a device that simulates how a car behaves while driving and how a driver reacts while driving under various road and driving conditions. In recent years, there has been a growing demand for the development of technologies that deeply intervene in driving behavior conventionally performed by humans, such as driver assistance and automatic driving technologies, and driving simulators are expected to play an increasingly important role in the development of such technologies. In this paper, we introduce research using driving simulators, which have been and will be indispensable for automotive research in the future.
