  • Abstract en The author proposes that a single rectangular pulse of short duration will produce a distorted waveform attributable to Fresnel's reflexion formula on the ionospheric reflexion. He computed the reflected waveform on his principle and compared the results with waveforms observed actually. It is found that in the present examples the distance of source calculated from the waveform is generally shorter than that assumed in calculation.
