  • Other 外来化学療法センターで治療を受ける患者は，院外処方せんが交付された場合，保険薬局における薬剤交付までの待ち時間 も，帰宅までの時間が遅くなる要因となる．このたび，治療時間を活用した待ち時間の負担軽減を期待して，外来化学療法セ ンターから院外処方せんの FAX 送信を開始した．開始前後での保険薬局における待ち時間の変化および FAX 送信の利便性を 調査したところ，平均待ち時間の短縮が認められ，利便性については高評価を得られた．外来化学療法センターからの FAX 送 信により，外来化学療法患者の身体的・精神的負担の軽減につながると考えられた．
  • Other Patients receiving chemotherapy in outpatient chemotherapy center must wait at the pharmacy to receive their medicines after treatment, which further delays the time they return home. As an attempt to shorten this waiting time, we started sending the prescription by FAX from outpatient chemotherapy center, while the patient was receiving treatment. We examined the change in the waiting time at the pharmacy before and after this attempt. The results showed that the waiting time was reduced and the evaluation of usefulness was high. We considered that the physical and mental burden of the patient receiving chemotherapy was reduced by sending the prescription by FAX from outpatient chemotherapy center.
