  • Other 人間本性の多様性を強調するモラル・サイエンスの復権が経済学に求められている。実証経済学ないし経済学の工学的アプローチは，経済学と倫理学の分離をすすめてきた。そして，測定と数学モデルに適した仕方で，人間本性を合理性へと還元した。本稿において，経済学はいかにしてモラル・サイエンスと実証経済学のより望ましいバランスを実現しうるかという問題を提起する。私は，これを経済学におけるモラル・サイエンスの復権問題とよぶ。そして，人間のより包括的な検討が経済学研究を豊かにするものと期待する。 Moral sciences, which emphasize the diversity of human nature, should be reclaimed by the discipline of economics. Positive economics, or an engineering approach, advanced the separation of economics and ethics, reducing human nature to rationality in ways that suit measurement and mathematical modeling. I raise the issue of how economics can achieve a better balance between moral science and positive economics. I refer to this as the-restoration-of-moral-science-in-economics problem. I hope that a more general consideration of humans will benefit the study of economics.
