  • Abstract All stakeholders are required to dramatically promote SDG actions, and there is a need to conduct tracking and evaluation using indicators. However, there have been few SDG actions utilizing indicators, and the reasons for the lack of progress in their utilization are unclear, so knowledge is needed. In this study, indicator data was first collected, and an attempt was made to understand the current status of indicator utilization through analysis using text mining. Next, we constructed an online database of SDG indicators (SDG Indicator DB). Finally, using the user data of the SDG Indicator DB, the author attempted to explore the needs of stakeholders who are considering the use of indicators. The results showed that (1) multi-labels are highly important, (2) similarity among indicator sets is high, and (3) unique indicators are required.
