The transmission of Geser epic, the generation of various myths and legends, the formation and Geser worship and so forth have jointly and interconnectively formed the Geser cultural ecology in Baarin Banner. Among them, the transmission of Geser epic have provided the basis for the formation of this culture, while the Geser scenery legends, the tradition of worshipping epic heroes, the special relation of Geser and Sakyamuni and so forth have provided necessary elements for Geser worship. Catering to the will of court, the higher class of Buddhism has tried to blend the images of Geser and Guan Yu, which inflicted decisive impact to the transformation of Guan Di Temple into Geser Temple. The myths and legends transformed during the transmission of Geser in Baarin Banner and the original local oral traditions have in turn formed the unique cantos of BaarinGeser. Some cantos are generated to meet the realistic needs of local people under certain condition during certain time. The forming process of BaarinGeser reflects the general process of an epic poety fusing and blending with the local tradition during transmission, resulting in the formation of unique local traditions, as well as the general process of how Geser epic becomes a grand epic embodying the whole national culture by receiving from local traditions.
