  • Other ja 1件。30丁。26.1×19.1cm。楮紙。咸豊3（1853）年3月。この史料は、咸豊3（1853）年に、当時仮若文子であった宮良當宗によって筆写された案文集である。内容は多岐にわたるが、前半はロバート・バウン号事件に関係する書状が占める。事件によって唐人270人余が石垣島に逗留したため、その食費などが村々の財政を圧迫しているとある。また、布を浜さらしにする女性たちも唐人から 逃げ回って作業ができず、とくに国王へと大和への御用布上納も滞るのではと心配している。したがって、護送船を派遣してほしいとの要望書である。この要望書は地方役人から提出され、八重山島蔵元役人や在番等を介して王府側（ここでは御物奉行所）に提出された。案文はそれだけではなく、ほかにも、学問を行うことの必要性を説いたものなどがある。 本史料自体は、ロバート・バウン号事件に対処するために石垣島に派遣された「御使者筆者」である盛永筑登之に宮良當宗が案文稽古を行ったと末尾に記載される。王府役人と八重山士族との関係を伺える史料である。
  • Other en Written by Kariwakateikugu Miyara, Tousou in 1853 ( Kan Pou 3), this collection of documents covers a wide range of topics. The first half consists of documents relating to the Robert Bowne(ship) incident. It is written that due to the accident, some 270 Chinese had to stay on Ishigaki Island and their meal expenses put a strain on the Village budget. Furthermore, as the women were escaping from the Chinese and couldn't continue drying the dyed fabrics along the coast, there were concerns especially about the delay in payment of fabric taxes to the King and to Yamato. A letter demanding the dispatch of an escort ship to get the Chinese home was also included. This letter was submitted by the district officials and passed through the Yaeyama Administration (KURAMOTO) officials as well as Government Supervisors (ZAIBAN) before finally reaching the Government's OMONOBUGYOUSHO. There are also other documents regarding the importance of academic studies etc. At the end, it is written that the Envoy's scribe Morinaga, Chikudoun had drafted documents to Miyara, Tousou. This is a historical source that sheds light on the relationship between the Government officials and the Yaeyama elites.
