Description
  • Other Using the upper layer air meteorological data at Kagoshima and Naze, the amount of precipitable water was estimated, and then it was compared with the NOAA / AVHRR channel 4-5 CCT value. The regression line was found as precipitable water (kg/m^2) = 0.8854 (ch4 - ch5) + 3.3961 with a regression coefficient of 0.845, and was significant for 99% confidence level. Thus the NOAA / AVHRR channel 4-5 CCT value can be used to estimate the amount of precipitable water.
