Abstract
en
Oriental species of the genus Anthomyia Meigen are reviewed. Four species of the Anthomyia punctipennis section and 12 species of the Anthomyia pluvialis section are recognized. One species of the punctipennis section, Anthomyia tamilensis, and one species of the pluvialis section, Anthomyia luculentella, are described as new to science. Two species of the pluvialis section, Anthomyia imbrida Rondani, 1866 and Anthomyia tempestatum Wiedemann, 1818, are added to the Oriental fauna of the genus. A key to the species is given.
